The Expurgatory track was recorded live by Paul Kidney and Stevie Richards at Bar Open, where Expurgatory were performing as a part of the Make It Up Club on Tuesday 19th September 2017.

Live mixing on the night by Stevie Richards, and additional post-production mixing and mastering was later done by Alexander.

Performing in the band on the night were:
Leah - spoken word
Susan - noise
El Bolsa - drums
George - guitar
Alexander - bass, vocals, noise

Parts of Genet were previously featured on the Interrobang album released in November 2017.
